Photo Transfer Services

This service can be used for memory quilt, quilt labels, or other special effects.

Jeffrey can convert your photos to fabric for you. Photo transfers are done on 200 thread per inch white fabric for good detail and contrast, and are prepared with the Bubble Jet Set process from the C. Jenkins company for colorfastness. Our photo transfer technician can work from prints or digital camera photos, and the price includes scanning as well as basic cropping and exposure correction, and adding any desired text. For quilt labels we can usually work directly with your word processing documents.

Jeffrey can print fabric blocks up to 12.5 by 18.5 inches in size, and can print 8 inch strips as long as 44 inches. The cost is just $10.00 for any size up to 8x12 inches, $20.00 for sizes up to 12.5 by 18.5 inches, and are quoted by length for strips up to 44".

Quilt Photography

Do you need quilts photographed for submission to a show, or a web site, or guild publication? Our staff photographer, Jeff, will photograph your quilts using studio lighting and modern digital equipment for clear details and accurate colors. For an example of the results you can expect, you can review the Quilt Pink Slide Show.

The cost for photographing your quilts is $40.00 for the appointment, to cover the set-up time, plus $6.00 for each quilt photographed, with the results delivered as JPEG files by either Flash ROM, E-mail/Internet or on CD-R. (2-sided quilts count as two.) From the CD, you can have prints made from local photofinishers, Internet based print services, or for additional fees we can either arrange to have the photos printed for you, or print high quality ink-jet prints in sizes up to 19"x13".
