The MQX 2009 photo disc is in the planning stages, and will be available for pre-ordering in February, 2009.

MQX 2008 Photo Disc

The MQX 2008 photo disc is is available for immediate shipment. Like last year, this disc is set up for both DVD player use and computer use.

Over 1000 photos of the 271 quilt and garment entries from Machine Quilters Exposition, April 16-19, 2008, multiple views of each

365 Candid photographs of the show activities, another 166 of the fashion show, plus photos of the special exhibit "Best of Show, All Breed AKC" by Linda Hibbert, and a collection of quilter's vanity license places found in the parking garage by Klaus Diercks

Eight time-lapse videos from the web camera. The Thursday Armory video is the funniest, as the entire scene is drifting slowly as the tape holding it in place weakens, until the camera finally just falls over. You can watch this video in the on-line demo.

On the video portion of the DVD, the quilt slide show is accompanied by the music of Evan Paul, a Toronto-based classical guitarist and songwriter.

By special request, I can also make a PAL format DVD-R for use in Europe and Australia, and a feature reduced CD-R version. Use the "questions or comments" link to inquire about these options.

MQX 2007 Photo Disc

The MQX 2007 Photo Disc is available for immediate shipment.

The disc has two separate viewing modes, one based on the Video DVD format, and another based on your computer's Internet web browser.

Over 600 photos of over 290 quilts and garments from Machine Quilters Exposition, April 2007, including the special exhibit of the Tri-State black and white challenge

Over 180 candid photographs of show activities and the banquest, and another 176 of the fashion show

Eleven time-lapse videos from the web camera. You can view a half-size version of the Wednesday Armory Video here. Watch the show set-up and Wednesday evening sneak peak viewing.

On the video portion of the DVD, the slide shows are accompanied by music performed on the piano by Jeffrey Van Devender of JavaMusiK.

Cost and Ordering Options

Each disc is $30 plus shipping, and 5% sales tax if delivered to a Massachusetts address.

You can order the photo disc now, through Jeff & Cricket Quilts. Orders can be taken any of the following ways:

Order the disc from the Mill Girl Quilts on-line store. The on-line store has secure credit card ordering, but your credit card will be charged immediately, as credit card numbers are not saved or stored. The on-line store refuses to register users outside the US and Canada. If you wish to order the disc for delivery outside North America, please use the "questions or comments" link to request that I create a registration for you.
Download, Print, and Complete the order form, and mail to the address on the form. You can pay by check or by credit card, and your card will not be charged until the disc is shipped.

Jeffrey provides MQX with live web camera views of the show floor. For Jeffrey's convenience, MQX utilizes this web page on the Jeff & Cricket Quilts web site to store and show the time lapsed movies made from the web camera images.
